| Prof. Miaowen WenIEEE Senior Member South China University of Technology, China Miaowen Wen received the Ph.D. degree from Peking University, Beijing, China, in 2014. From 2019 to 2021, he was the Hong Kong Scholar with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. He is currently a Professor with South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China. He has authored or co-authored two books and more than 200 journal articles. His research interests include wireless and molecular communications. He was a recipient of the IEEE Asia-Pacific (AP) Outstanding Young Researcher Award in 2020. He was the Winner of the Data Bakeoff Competition (Molecular MlMO) at the IEEE Communication Theory Workshop (CTW), Selfoss, Iceland. He served as an Editor/a Guest Editor of IEEE Transactions on Communications, IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications, and IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Signal Processing. He is an Editor/a Senior Editor of IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, IEEE Transactions on Molecular, Biological, and Multi-scale Communications, and IEEE Communications Letters. |
| Prof. Liang YangIEEE Senior Member Hunan University, China Liang Yang, Professor, Ph.D. Supervisor, was born in 1977. He received his Ph.D. degree from Sun Yat-sen University in 2006. He has conducted postdoctoral research at City University of Hong Kong and Texas A&M University at Qatar. His primary research interests include wireless communications and optical wireless communications. He has published over 150 papers in IEEE journals, including9 highly cited papers and 2 hot papers. His h-index reaches 42 on Google Scholar and ResearchGate. He has been listed in Stanford University’s World's Top 2% Scientists forsix consecutive years and was named an Elsevier “Highly Cited Chinese Researcher” in both 2023,2024, and 205. He has presided over five projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and one project under the National Key R&D Program. In addition, he has participated as a topic leader in a Key Program of the NSFC Regional Innovation and Development Joint Fund. | I have been full professor of School of Computer Science and Technology in Guangdong University of Technology since 2010, and my research interests are focused on automata theory, discrete-event systems, fault diagnosis and prognosis,and fuzzy logic. I am the author or coauthor of more than 100 peer-review papers published in journals such as IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, Automatica, IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, Information Sciences, IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering, Fuzzy Sets and Systems, and Science China. |
